It was...es-stinky

Went to the city landfill today to get some shots for one of the magazines I work on. It was surprisingly interesting. One of the coolest things about it was that they employ a Falconer who uses a group of trained falcons to chase the sea gulls away. It was pretty amazing to watch these things in action. There's a link to the pics below- note the shot of the dog. That was the dirtiest, mangiest, nastiest dog i've ever seen. Not surprised he works at the dump. The shot of me taking his picture looks like a war journalist photographing bodies in the road. Although they probably smell better. link

Notable events from the past week: The guy at Trader Joes busted out an air guitar while i was accessing the atm machine at the check stand and I saw a giant rat run out of the bushes in front of the Denny's on State street. It's been a slow week. Here's some Toots and the Maytals. mac PC
