100 X 100

Everyone knows in-n-out has gone on record as saying they will stack as many burgers w/ cheese in between two buns as the customer orders. I've eaten double doubles, I've seen 4X4s and i've heard legends of larger but I always find it intriguing. What kinda Willy Wonka school of fast food thought this up? I mean, ten burgers wouldn't even sit up on the tray. Would it? Last October these kids from San Francisco went to Vegas and did the unthinkable. link

What's That Smell?

Several South Bay beaches remain closed today and a massive cleanup effort is under way after thousands of 2 million gallons of bubbling raw sewage poured out of manholes and onto beaches, causing what could be the largest spill in the area's history, officials said.

This was on SNL a couple weeks ago. It's a digital short called Lazy Sunday produced by the guys at Lonely Island.

Scrub it, Kook

My landlords went out of town for the holidays and sent us this letter that I stuck on the refrigerator. It wasn't until recently I discovered that they spelled my last name wrong. In their defense, I’ve misspelled their last name on rent checks for the past two years. They haven't ever said anything, but I believe this to be a passive / aggressive response. They are 80 year old, broken-english speaking immigrants, so I think they're misspelling might just be funnier than intended. In my defense, they have a name that resembles a star wars character.

Kook*:
1. someone posing very hard as a surfer or skateboarder.

2. someone that goes to every surfing or skateboarding event to hangout, compile pictures, start conversations, and generally be seen with real surfers or skateboarders. "Dude, did you see that kook trying to drop in on me the other day?"

Matisyahu

I'm posting this because someone asked me for it and I figured since it's being hosted for the next 6 days, i'd hook my loyal readers up with the link. While I was looking for an image to accompany the post I discovered that Matisyahu has released a studio version of the King Without A Crown video. I just watched it and I must say I was very disappointed. It's much more watered down and not nearly as dynamic as the live version. I realize the concept of a hasidic jew reggae MC is not something I should take too seriously, but his live material is pretty impressive by most standards. I was bummed to see it packaged so ineffectively.
