Do Not Feed the Radio Jocks

I can't believe i've never ranted about this because it's been pissing me off for years.

Do you really need to eat on-air? Are you that hungry? There are 24 hours in a day and your only job is to speak into a microphone in 30 second increments for 2 of them. Your single responsibility in life is to have your mouth empty for those precious minutes a day and that's too tall an order? I understand that the local donut shop brought in a case of donuts to promote their store, but do you have any idea how unappealing it is to hear someone broadcasting through 4lbs of half-masticated dough? Not only does it make me want to punch you in your powdered-sugar-covered face, it makes me want to toss a trash can through the front window of the donut shop. I fail to see how that is good advertising.
