The Chalet

The first place I lived in when I moved to Isla Vista (UCSB) was the Chalet. It was cool because it was one of the only places in IV w/ a pool. Many days were spent basking in the sun next to that pool and many evenings ended in it. Usually after a dangerous amount of alcohol and against the swimmer's wishes. Last Saturday I went out to IV for Cantina burritos (the best breakfast burritos in the world- this is not up for debate). I had to park next to the Chalet and decided to glance at the pool for old times sake. This is what I saw. I felt like the native american guy in the pollution commercials from the 70s.
